Radio Drama Project
The year is 2080 .What will our world be like? Today, we are in the midst of enormous changes in technology, revolutionizing the way we, as human beings, will think and act in the years to come. We are also in a major cultural war, making critical choices between good and evil.
Storytellers have a major role to play in posing these choices, and in shaping this culture; they can have tremendous impact, through today’s media: comic books, film, music, internet, radio drama. The Nation of Space is a story which needs to be told. It takes place in 2080; it is a dramatic inspiring story, set in the technology of the future, and posing the moral questions we face today. The comic book storyline and its characters have been developed over a ten year period and we are now ready to produce a full radio drama / CD version for broadcast and distribution.
The radio theatre version will feature a rich soundtrack with original music, and engaging voices. Proposed length of story: 190 minutes, about the length of a feature film, filling 3 audio CDs, and playing as an 13 week series on radio.
The story is written by Dan Kennedy; the soundtrack is being produced by Northern Rain Studio.
